Mesila has developed a comprehensive range of materials to teach children and young adults the principles and tools for becoming financially responsible. As much as our family coaching service aims to give people the tools to deal with the issues they face, our range of educational programmes equip students with the tools to develop healthy spending habits and attitudes.
We have materials for children school ages 10-18, as well as materials suitable for young adults in yeshivos and seminaries. The scope of our syllabus includes the following:
- Differentiating between ‘needs’ and ‘wants’
- Understanding how to use our resources efficiently
- Avoiding peer pressure
- Dangers of credit cards and other issues related to debt
All of our programmes are accompanied by colourful and easy-to-understand workbooks and teachers’ guides. Our staff will help teachers in your school to understand the Mesila principles so they can teach Mesila proogrammes as and when they have the ability to do so.
